Please Note:

The Pagan Institute is undergoing a complete rebuild.

As a result, some pages may be moved, or, disappear entirely.
We will have new menus and pages up later in Winter 2014 .

The Pagan Institute supports the development of modern Pagan ideas, culture, and leadership through web-based publication, classes, and conferences. Our goal is to advance Pagan scholarship and religious leadership training. the implications of Pagan theology for contemporary problems.

To serve the general Pagan public, we provide:

  • book reviews for adults and children;
  • a virtual temple;
  • resource pages for certain issues, particularly religious civil liberties and the development of Pagan institutions
  • Pagan Studies courses.

We welcome original essays and manuscripts of any length in Pagan Studies (including ancient history, cultural anthropology, community organizing, ethics, Jungian psychology, leadership development, liturgics/ritual, etc.). We are most interested in applications of social sciences to the needs of our community. Contact the editor.

The Pagan Institute Seminary is the coalescing dream of a virtual seminary and library to serve leadership training needs for the first millennial Pagan generation. We hope to facilitate collegial dialog about the implications of Pagan theology for contemporary problems.

Director Christa Landon is seeking Pagan scholars (especially those with advanced degrees) to become fellows of the Pagan Institute. Please include your academic background as well as your interests and experiences as a Pagan in your inquiry.

While most of the seminary is in its earliest stage of development, we hope you'll visit it and come back each month for more as it's available.

This site is being built to provide a place for the development and exchange of Pagan theological thought.

For now, if you have any comments and/or questions about the site, feel free to contact the editor. Click HERE. E-mail, e-mail lists, and, a Bulletin Board will be available for discussion among fellows of the Institute.

Until then, come back often for news, information and the exchange of scholarly Pagan ideas.
