Our normal location is at First Unitarian Society, 900 Mt. Curve Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55403. That's where we get our mail and where most of our classes and festivals take place.

When weather permits, most of us Pagans prefer to be outdoors to worship, and sometimes for classes, etc. Our usual site at FUS offers a shade garden with indoor amenities close at hand. When we hold events in a nearby park, our rain site is usually at FUS.

While our cooler season festivals and Full Moon rituals will continue to take place in First Unitarian Society's Chalice Room, other events for groups of under 20 particpants will generally take place in the Sr. High lounge, which is the largest ground floor room off the Groveland Avenue entrance. Unfortunately, this room will have some archetectural barriers for the next 3 years.

Some wheelchairs will be able to surmount a shallow step and the threshold.  If you are in a wheelchair, you should be dropped off at the top of the driveway to the left of FUS. Then go through the cut out in the hedge to the Groveland Ave. entrance. Someone from our group can park your car on the street. If this won't work for a registered participant, we can change locations for the program by arranging to hold events elsewhere in the building or even at another site such as First Universalist Church of Minneapolis, 3400 Dupont Ave. S. Minneapolis, MN 55408.

If you need wheelchair access, PLEASE give us as much notice as possible, using the RSVP form or the class registration form as appropriate.
Everyone, please help us be prepared by making your RSVP at least 24 hours in advance.
Please don't assume that other people will RSVP and so you don't have to; undersubscribed events can be cancelled.

LOCATIONS OF OUR EVENTS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
because we do not have our own space.

In the past, weddings or construction or funerals have pre-empted our use; it doesn't happen often, but it has happened. In the event of a cancellation or a change of room assignment, those who have RSVP'd will receive a notice by email as soon as we know. If you can't check email within 24 hours of an event, please indicate that and provide your phone number when you RSVP.

Remember you need to CHECK THE ROOM AND ENTRANCE! When the meeting is on the Groveland Avenue side, the Mt. Curve side of the building may be locked. In the event of a change of room assignment, the change will be posted on the door.

Thank you for your patience as we all adapt to these changes.

You'll find it easy to get to First Unitarian Society from I-94, I-394, & 35W. Click for directions and a map There is frequent bus service with stops from Bus Routes #4, #6, #12, and #28.

For more details on classes, go to classes; "tba" means "to be announced."

NOTE: The time shown here is for when the moon is utterly dark. The new crescent is first visible just before the first sunset 18 hours AFTER the New Moon date shown here. Ancient Celts, Greeks, Romans and Near Eastern peoples identified the New Moon with the first visible crescent. Jewish and Muslim religious worship is still ordered by the first visible crescent; the US Naval Observatory provides calculations. (See Lunar Information page.)
