Bardic Circle 2nd & 4th Saturdays 5 – 7pm

Come to a gathering of the clan to share stories, chants, music and even humor. What clan? Well, you could be Norse, Pagan, Celtic, Wiccan, Gothic, Hindu, Buddhist, or what have you. Like any 'open mic' listeners are most welcome, you don't have to perform. Just let us know. There is some structure, we try to make sure everyone gets their turn. This is not a jam, unless the performer on the live seat says it's okay to join in.

Eye of Horus: 2717 Lyndale Avenue South, Minneapolis  55408

Australian Wendy Rule, with Norse/Rune Diva Kari Tauring and the amazing Felonious Bosch

On Wednesday, May 28th, starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Cedar Culural Center, we're doing this really cool event. Magick TV is coming all the way from Illinois to film it. The music will be incredible, and you can even invite non-Pagan friends, because this is a "non-pagan-friendly event." And the music is simply amazing.

Tickets are $18 in advance, or for procrastinators, $22 at the door. You can get your advance tickets any way you want, like calling the Cedar Ticketline at: 612-338-2674 ext 2, visiting Ticketweb.com, visiting Eye of Horus in Minneapolis, or calling them at 612-872-1292. If you want will-call, Ticketweb is the way to go. It's General Admission, doors open at 7:00 p.m., but there's really hardly a bad seat in the house.

We're trying to sell 450 tickets, and I think it's totally do-able. But don't delay. You could forget and miss this amazing Magical Mystery Tour of a night. And yes, we are advertising, and we did do press releases and all that, and we are getting some press coverage later this month. But we're sending this eMail so folks who will really appreciate the music, the ritual, and the vibe have first dibs.

We're also asking that if you have a blog or MySpace page or whatnot, that you do that whole social networking thing about the concert.
Thanks!

The official concert listing (complete with a YouTube of Wendy) is here: http://www.thecedar.org/wendy_rule_with_kari_tauring_and_felonious_bosch

Upper Midwest Pagan Alliance (UMPA)
Seeks LOGO!

The image must be simple enough to be recognizable in small size and interesting enough to hold the eye in large size. The acronym "UMPA" must be included. Otherwise, there's a general agreement that and that the logo not exclude any particular tradition within Paganism. Thus, pentagrams should not be included.

For more info about UMPA, visit their website at www.umpaganalliance.com

If you have an idea, send a sketch to board@umpaganalliance.com.
