  • We are especially interested in reflective essays, Pagan prayers, items on raising Pagan kids, accounts of Pagan involvement in social justice, charity, and interfaith activities.

  • We do not publish CHAIN LETTERS...not even if the Goddess appears with golden tablets and is going to take you if you don't build a temple out of a million petitions folded into origami legos.

  • Because of spambombs, we now use webmail. We most readily run brief items (100-500 words); however, if your item is too long for webmail or if it includes art, please write here with your email address and phone number and we'll send you an email address.

  • We can't pay; if you submit material you are giving us non-exclusive rights to print it. This means you can give or sell non-exclusive rights to someone else.

  • By submitting an article, you are identifying it as your creation. If it is not, please include a means of contacting the author (such as a URL); FYI, press releases are always in the common domain, as is anything written by someone who died over 75 years ago.

  • We don't guarantee placement.

Twin Cities Pagan News covers nonprofit public Pagan events in Minnesota as a free service to the Paganistan community.  But we can't do it without help!  If your group's event isn't here, please do your part.

  • Submissions without essential facts risk being left out since I still don't "have eternity at my command."

    • Who is sponsoring event;

    • What the event is;

    • When it will happen (day, date, hour);

    • Where (including street number and directions); if you include bus#s, we'll run them! NOTE: For reasons of liability, we do NOT run notices of events held in private homes.

    • Price of event; if this isn't shown we will publicize it as FREE!

    • Info on handicap accessibility (wheelchair accessible? signing?);

    • Provision for children if any;

  • We can run announcements for up to 90 days. Our deadline is the 25th of the prior month, but we can't guarantee placement, so please send your info in ASAP.

  • Free announcements are brief and published in a standardized, simple format; we use Dreamweaver, and it's easier when all special formatting is stripped. PLEASE SEND YOUR ANNOUNCEMENTS IN PLAIN TEXT, with no ALL CAPS.

  • If you want to use special formatting, art, or very lengthy text, or if you are charging $10 or more, we need you to help defray the cost of producing this 'zine. Nonprofits get a video page for $10/mo., barter accepted.

  • Preference (length, location, featuring) is given for non-commercial, wheelchair accessible, and child-friendly programs and programs with a social justice, environmental, or scholarly component. We appreciate your reciprocating by informing your Pagan friends of Pagan Institute publications. See BANNER EXCHANGE.

  • If we don't know you, we reserve the right to ask questions, since I'm also short of omniscience and the crystal ball cracked. If you don't include a web-site, please include your mission-statement or a brief statement about your group's principle ideas and purpose. We may inquire about the organization's policies regarding racism and inclusivity. We will not knowingly promote illegal activities. We ask LOTS of questions when major fundraising is involved, for the protection of the community.

  • To defray expenses, we also provide PAID advertising for profit-making companies and services of special interest to our community. We are now offering a special introductory rate: business card sized ads on our "front page" for only $10/mo. prepaid. Larger ads are also available. Contact us to create an account.
