Blessed Be!
This is the local news section of Paganistan's hometown paper. We hope you'll share
news of all the little civil rights victories -- companies that
honor our holydays, etc. But ALSO, we hope you'll share

opportunities to collaborate and memorial services on the
The Flower-Faced One has finally arrived, to transform the frozen tundra of oh so many months into the lush green of late spring. Beltane fires and May Poles have blessed our community, and Summer is nearly upon us.
As we savor this most splendid of seasons, the sweetness is tempered by the knowledge that all this beauty is fragile, and that we humans have reparations to make.
Perhaps we could begin by restoring some of the beautiful native prairie and savannah plants? These include: purple echinecea, black-eyed susan, coneflower, columbine, cupflower, blanketflower, butterflyweed, and many more.
Many of these seeds are available inexpensively. You can start them in a pot and then transplant them after they have 3 pairs of leaves; water them weekly for 2 months, and then most should survive on their own.
If you pullout an invasive, non native plant like Queen Anne's lace, and replace it with a sun-loving native plant, you'll help restore the balance of nature in your own community.
Let us all be gardeners in the Virgins' woods and meadows!
